Your Telephone and the Call Clarity
The teleconference can receive interference from Internet calls, speaker
phones, cell phones, and cordless phones which are away from their base unit.
Since one person can disrupt the clarity of the call for the entire group, we
ask that you please call in on a corded land line – a standard telephone. If you
must use a cordless phone, please stay close to your base unit. If you need to
use a speaker phone, we ask that you press 6 to mute it, or use the handset
instead. This will avoid terrible buzzing, static and loud electronic feedback
on the call.
If you have a headset, this is great and please use it. In addition, please
realize that everyone on the call will be able to hear everything around you.
Although this is great for asking questions, if you're typing, rustling papers,
talking to others, preparing a meal, eating, doing dishes or anything else,
everyone will be able to hear this. For this reason, please do whatever is
necessary to be in the quietest surroundings possible and be considerate of
others during the call.
Teleconference Tips and Protocol
1. If possible take some time before the call to relax and clear your mind.
You'll be much more present if your mind and body can relax and focus.
2. Please be in a quiet space with no background noise. A corded land line is
preferable as this provides the clearest connection.
3. If you are using a cell-phone, mobile phone, speaker phone, or internet phone
such as Vonage or Skype please keep your line muted throughout the call.
4. If you have any background noise, please keep your line muted throughout the
call.
5. The call will start promptly. The lines will be open 10 minutes before the
call starts. Please call in early or right on time when the call starts.
6. If you have a call-waiting feature on your line, please disable it before
dialing in to the call by dialing *70. After you hang up, your call-waiting
feature automatically resumes.
7. The facilitator may ask for you to share or respond throughout the call. To
manage a group who cannot "clue" into each other visually, please wait with
comments until you've been prompted with a question, or invited to comment.
8. When you share, please say, "(facilitator name), then (Your Name). The
facilitator will respond by saying, "Yes (Your Name), go ahead." Then say
whatever you'd like. We request that you keep comments as short as possible (to
allow others to be included), and that your comments be constructive and
positive.
9. Please minimize cross-talk between callers since it can interrupt the flow of
the call.
This will create a quiet, sacred environment conducive to connecting,

misogynistic biblical tenet that women are the root of all evil and the cause of
suffering. The Universe depends upon the SHAKTI power of women to create,
nurture, and maintain balance and harmony. Women must begin by reclaiming power
and balance within, so we may bring the Universe back into balance.
